Are you as happy about it being summer as I am?
There is so much to enjoy during the summer months. You could take the family to the beach... you could enjoy a tall glass of ice tea on the back porch... you could brave the streets of Six Flags or Disney World... you
could catch fireflies in the twilight... you could go golfing, swimming, jogging... you could harvest the fruits of your labor in the garden... you could go blueberry picking or blackberry picking... you could take your dog to the park and throw a tennis ball a couple hundred times. There is no shortage of things to do in the summer.
The Texas Blueberry Festival is right around the corner, and that is one of my absolute favorite things about summertime in Nacogdoches.
So whatever you choose to do, wherever you choose to go, remember the moments of time well spent. Go out and make some memories!!

Wow, is it here already?! Most children are now out for the summer, with a few schools close behind. Pretty soon every family will be on vacation or planning one, or so it seems.
