A Dog Around Town... the word from JoeBuddy
|
Hey friends, I know I look sad, but I'm in good spirits. I had a medical procedure performed to help improve my quality of life and am doing great. Dr. Stephen Garner and the crew at the Southside Animal Clinic treated me right.
Next month, I should be 100% and
ready to go sniff out all the local news so that I can dish with my readers. I appreciate your concern and look forward to getting back with you real soon.
Thanks for playing along. Bark at ya next month.
Our goal as your friend and professional photographer is to create happy clients for life.
From the moment we meet you or speak with you on the phone til the moment your portrait is hung on your wall, we will treat you kindly and professionally. We go to great lengths to insure that our clients desires are met or exceeded every step of the way. If you are not thrilled with your portraits, we will make it right or give your money back. Thank you for being a part of our lives and our business. We look forward to seeing you soon! |

Dear Friends and Family,
With the New Year now well under way, individuals and our community as a whole have started to make some real changes. January is always the time of year to make those resolutions intended to better ourselves in some form or fashion. Businesses, like individuals, make the same kinds of resolutions. "We will be better at this or that." "We will
donate more to charity." "We will be more efficient with our time." Our studio is no different. We are looking for ways to continue to be the best professional photographer around as well as improve in the areas we can. We know the level of service and attention we devote to each and every client. We are confident in our abilities to offer superior quality portraits and uniquely designed products. And as always, the beauty of our Victorian studio and private
portrait garden remain the envy of photographers in the area.
We want our clients and friends to know we are here, as always, ready to surpass your expectations and thrill your hearts with incredible fine art
portraits. Keep in touch as we continue these efforts throughout this new year.
Good luck with your New Year's Resolutions! We believe in you.
Puppy Love Portraits - Friday, Feb. 14 Supporting the Humane Society of Nacogdoches County
|
|
Each year, the studio hosts a promotional event in support of the Humane Society. Although the details of the event have changed from time to time, the goal is ultimately the same. We want to be a part of helping those pets that are in need while offering others an opportunity to join this effort. So, as a photography studio, what better opportunity is there than capturing special moments of your family with your beloved pet?
These photos will capture the love your family has for your pet and will remain in your hearts for years to come.

Getting it Right Everytime Capturing the perfect portrait even when it seems impossible
|
|
When you have been around as long as G. Patterson Studio has, you think you have heard it all when it comes to doubts. Stressed out mothers will say, "There is just no way to get a good photo of my child." Sarcastic dads will smirk, "Good luck with this family." Nervous teenagers will say, "I don't like pictures." And even those parents, at the end of their portrait session, will sometimes ask, "Do you think we got anything at
all?"

Nacogdoches Snow Day Through the Eyes of a Photographer
|
|
When Thursday afternoon temperatures started dropping, I was hopeful for some of that white goodness and we rarely see in Nacogdoches. About 6 pm last night, the snow came and continued for most of the night creating a beautiful white blanket over everything we normally view. Thankfully Douglass ISD started with a two-hour delay. We were certainly enjoying the few extra hours sipping on freshly brewed coffee.

Signature Seniors
Senior portraits as unique as the individual
|
|
At the studio, we have a dressing room for our clients. In that room, there is a wall where graduating seniors have written little notes about their sessions and signed their names. Looking at this wall the other day got me thinking about the individuality of each of these seniors. Every word is penned with its own particular handwriting. Each note has its own voice. Every signature is unique and stylistic. This hodgepodge
of messages is a perfect representation of just how different each person is.
