I'm back! Big thanks to Greg for filling in for a few months while I was away. I trust that our readers enjoyed and appreciated his articles regarding re-certification. Well fans, it's October! Can you believe it? Every year this month is chock full of special interest events and fundraisers. October provides a great opportunity for us to stop talking about things and start doing them. Whether you want to raise money in support of interests such as Improving Child Literacy, Curing Breast Cancer, Ending Domestic Violence, or Finding Homes for Pets, here is your chance. Be an active participant. Check out the local CVB website or other local venues to see how you can get involved. And if you want to join forces with Patterson Studio, they have their ongoing Pet Portrait Series that benefits organizations like O'Malley PET and the Humane Society.  Thanks for playing along.
