It can be a labor of love from time to time, but we are so happy to do it. Being able to capture the important moments in your family's life through our fine art photography is what makes it all worth it. We have such a loyal clientele here in Nac, but we also have so many others that drive considerable distances to our little ole studio. Thank you friends for your continued trust. They Grow Up Too Quick 
This past April, the studio celebrated its 8th anniversary at its current location featuring the historic Victorian house. Within the first year, we added the Portrait Garden which has become one of our most requested backgrounds because of its beautifully landscaped venues.
During that first year, the garden grew from an idea slowly into reality with each stone, path and fence. Our youngest son Nathan helped by painting the lovely white picket fence. I think he actually had more paint on him than the fence. What I remember is we worked as a family but had fun at the same time.
Fast forward and we are still working together. As you can see, Nathan still likes to paint but this time with less paint on him! Wow do kids grow quickly.
The studio really is a labor of love for our entire family. We strive to pour our hearts, talents, decades of training into our clients who we genuinely feel become part of our family. If you haven't allowed us to capture your family or children in lifestyle portraiture the past few years, please consider giving us a call.

East Texas Celebrates Independence Day

"I'm an American"... a statement for which I will never apologize. No matter your political views, we all agree that we live in the greatest nation on the planet. In our own right, we are blessed as a nation. When compared to other countries around the world, we are blessed beyond words. Each year there are several days where we, as Americans, pause from our busy routines and forget our political differences to remember this great country and thank those who built her. Thank you founding fathers for your great insight and boldness of heart that conceived of a nation "of the people, by the people, and for the people." Thank you military past, present and future that selflessly give everything you have to give so that your families and fellow Americans can enjoy freedoms unrivaled by any other country. Thank you God for your continued guidance and providential care. This nation was built upon the sacrifices of the few for the greater good of the many. May we as a country united in strength, determination, and innovation never forget to be thankful for this incredible United States of America.

Watermelon Success!
Yeah, I have developed an allergy to watermelon. So what? When it's summer time in East Texas, eating watermelon is not an option. It is just expected. And we always expect a super fun time when we offer our Just 4 Fun Kid's Special - Watermelon Bash! This year was no different. Thank you to all the families that brought their precious children in for this summer fun time! You will enjoy these reminders of your sweet little ones for many years to come. We look forward to next year's event.

2013 gCrew Model Program is Underway

What?! You don't know what gCrew is? Well, maybe that's because gCrew is a top secret, highly trained, special-ops group of ninja fighters charged with saving the planet from alien invaders...... OK, that was just to see if you are actually reading this stuff.
gCrew is actually a group of exceptional high school students willing to be a part of something bigger than themselves. It's a program that seamlessly combines sharing high quality senior portraits with earning portrait gifts and scholarship money.
We have had more applicants this year than we have ever had. And, as I write this, we have 10 of our 20 positions filled. And we fully intend to have all the others filled just as soon as our prospective models and their parents conclude that this is indeed something they believe they will succeed in. Needless to say, we are so excited about this year's gCrew. They have each shown themselves to be outgoing, self-motivated, enthusiastic, delightful young people. We are certain that these new friends of the studio will succeed in our program, and go on to succeed in the real world just as well.
If you know of an exceptional high school student that you believe would be interested in gCrew, please send them our way. We offer this program each year and are always looking for new models.
