With much of the year behind us and Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, it is a great time to reflect upon the things in our lives we are thankful for.
Many people take this month to tell others one thing they are thankful for each day. I think this is a splendid idea. It helps us to stop focusing on our aches and pains and difficulties, and dwell on something better. By simply reminding ourselves that we each have blessings to be thankful for, our spirits are uplifted and our demeanor is brightened. Others see our grateful attitudes turn into kindnesses rendered, and they in turn look for ways to spread the joy.
Whether it is family or friends, fellowship or fun times, please examine your own life. And share with others all that you have to be thankful for this year.
