What is June in Nacogdoches without our annual Blueberry Festival? Every year I look forward to the controlled chaos that it brings to downtown.
There are booths galore, fun activities for the kids, tons of people from out of town, and everyone seems to be walking around with blue tongues.... must be all the delicious blueberry flavored food and drink. There are costume contests and bakery contests to be a part of. And if you can get there early enough, the blueberry pancakes are a hometown favorite.
This is something our small town can be proud of and thoroughly enjoy. You can't do something like the Blueberry Festival in a large city, so take pride Nacogdochians. The flavor of our summer is Blueberry!

Each year we have high school students take part in our modelship program. This program is designed to connect with current and upcoming seniors as well as offer extreme benefits and scholarships to those who participate. We have high expectations this year as we have re-launched this program with a new style and expanded its qualifications and benefits to include freshman and sophomores as well as juniors and seniors.

The Littles
But the Greatest of These is Love
Peace, patience, kindness, goodness, self control, faithfulness are all words that describe Bob & Claudine Little.
Just after Cindy & I were married, we found a family away from family in Oak Grove Baptist Church. Bob was the pastor with Claudine right there by his side. They were examples of faith, love, hope while teaching us about God's love for us.
The Little's just celebrated their 50th anniversary and I've got to tell you, "boy do they have a story to tell!" Through the death of their daughter to almost loosing Bob from a stroke, their faith has never wavered.
You can find the Little's still doing what God has called them to do at Old North Church in Nacogdoches every Sunday.

Jayne Garrison
"Tragedy's Ark"
Jayne Garrison, wife of Dr. Olie Garrison, has lived in our community for the past ten years. Author of several other literary works, she came to our studio recently desiring professional photography for her latest book "Tragedy's Ark." This spiritually based book has been written as a comfort for disheartened parents. It is a story of complete acceptance and love. Written using both traditional styles combined with the new, this book can be helpful to all parents struggling with how to deal with difficult circumstances.

Foto Frenzy 2011 - Family Vacations
Remember to take your camera with you on your family vacation this summer. This August we will be unveiling the winner of our "Family Vacations - Foto Frenzy Contest" but you should start thinking about taking the photos now. Grand Prize will be a Free Family Session and a $300 gift certificate to go towards your family portrait order.
The contest itself is just a fun way for people to connect and enjoy stories from other families similar to their own. Share your summer vacation memories by posting your favorite family photos to our Foto Frenzy Facebook Page. Feature magical moments from your favorite vacation spot, or catch your children horsing around and having fun! And be sure to comment on the photos you post to give everyone a little background story of your family's time together.

PhotoBooth: Experience the Crazy!!
Great for Dances, Weddings, or Corporate Events
Be silly. Be sassy. Be zany. We don't care. It's all about cutting loose and having fun! We're so proud to be the only studio in East Texas offering the PhotoBooth. It's a great way to generate excitement and remember your special event. The PhotoBooth works well for couples, but is large enough to accommodate groups of up to eight adults.
Props are available and definitely encouraged! Pay per ticket or rent the booth for unlimited use at $750 for 3 hours. Each use takes 4 different images and prints them to a 4x6 right then. This little addition could really make your next event a great success!
